About this opportunity:

Based in Bangalore, you will own implementations and advanced troubleshooting in Juniper-based Service Provider routing environments and EVPN-VXLAN Data Center networks. You will act as a senior escalation point for incidents, problem resolution, and technical operations, and you will lead infrastructure projects end to end. This is a hands-on engineering role in a WAN and Data Center core team, focused on design, implementation, and advanced troubleshooting rather than first- or second-line support. Flexibility for planned work outside office hours is required, and openness to a 24x7 rotation is a plus.

What you will do:

  • Lead implementation projects from design through delivery, independently.
  • Implement standardized solutions and adapt non-standard designs across Service Provider WAN and EVPN-VXLAN Data Center networks.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex incidents and recurring problems.
  • Create and execute MOPs (Methods of Procedure) for infrastructure changes.
  • Configure and operate Juniper MX, QFX, EX, and SRX devices.
  • Execute site build-outs, technology refreshes, and migrations across WAN and Data Center environments.
  • Model network environments in an SSoT tool (e.g. NetBox) as a foundation for automation.
  • Partner with the NOC/L1 team and the Architecture team, closing the feedback loop between operations and design

The skills you bring:

Note-"All academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are further subject to verification."

  • 8+ years in WAN and Data Center networking, with strong Service Provider routing experience.
  • Candidate must be flexible for 24x7 role.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with EVPN-VXLAN and modern Data Center architectures (leaf-spine, multi-homing, ESI-LAG, LACP).
  • Proven ability to design, operate, and troubleshoot core routing and switching at scale - BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and L2/L3 VPN services.
  • Proven project implementation, troubleshooting, and operations experience.
  • SRX and/or Palo Alto firewall troubleshooting and security fundamentals.
  • Solid Linux systems background.
  • Professional-level certification (Juniper or Cisco) in Data Center and/or Service Provider routing and switching.
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, with hands-on experience in NetBox, AWX/Ansible, or equivalent.
  • Coding/scripting ability (e.g. Python) is a strong plus, not a requirement.
  • Candidate will need to be prepared to be flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities, along with out of hours and on call support

Primary country and city: India (IN) || Bangalore
