HR and Recruitment Apprentice

With 1,400 colleagues at the heart of our success, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a HR & Recruitment Apprentice to join our HR team. This role provides experience while working towards a recognised qualification in HR and talent acquisition.

What you'll do

The HR & Recruitment Apprentice will have the opportunity to develop and learn across two core areas to include HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition.

The role will provide a foundation in HR generalist activities that support the employee lifecycle such as updating our HR systems with things like new starter and leaver records as well as monitoring key dates and changes across employee information, absence management and performance management.

This will lead nicely into the Talent Acquisition activities from learning how to write a job advert, candidate attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection and the onboarding of candidates.

You will lead on onboarding activities which typically include; Right to Work checks, issuing of employment contracts and referencing activities.

There will also be the opportunity to get involved with process improvement projects and supporting the apprenticeship team as an ambassador!

Training

Blended learning including self study, online workshops, videos etc.

After the apprenticeship

May progress to Talent Acquisition Administrator.

• Hours: 40 hours a week. Working week: Monday to Friday 8am- 5pm
