What you'll do

• Helping with feeding and preparing children's food
• Helping with preparing snacks
• Playing and interacting with children
• Planning and setting up children's activities
• Tiding up after play and the activities
• Following the EYFS curriculum and writing up observations
• Filling out children daily dairies
• Cleaning after a mealtime
• Helping to put children to sleep
• Taking children to play groups and other outings
• Helping children in their daily routines such as dressing up and feeding
• Giving children the best role model behaviour as an example

After the apprenticeship

• To be discussed upon completion of apprenticeship

Skills

Qualifications

• Desired: GCSE, Maths and English (grade Grades 4-9 (A*- C))

About the employer

We are Ofsted registered childcare services in SE10 East Greenwich and we operate from our cosy home with a dedicated sensory playroom and large outdoor garden space for babies to play in.

We had apprentice from your school and she was with us for the last 4 years. After completing her Level 3 in Childcare sadly she decided to move on. Please can we have another one as amazing as the first one was? You are really doing absolutely amazing job in teaching your students all they need to know to become confident professionals

• Hours: 32 hours a week. Working week: Monday- Thursday (9am- 6pm)
• Start date: 20 October 2026

• Wage: £13,312 a year
