Trainee Accountant Apprentice

This role involves bookkeeping, preparing VAT and management accounts and assisting with Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax returns. The successful candidate will hold the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.

What you'll do

• Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns
• Accounts preparation from client records
• Assistant with the preparation of Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax returns
• Management accounts preparation
• Liaising and communicating with clients and colleagues
• Supporting the wider team with other accounting and administrative tasks as required

Training

• One day study per week at Newcastle College

After the apprenticeship

• Could lead to a permanent position for the right person.

Qualifications

• Desired: GCSE, English (grade Grade B/6 or above)
• Desired: GCSE, Maths (grade (Grade B/6 or above))
