Apprentice Upholsterer - REF 15009

New England Design are looking to recruit an apprentice upholsterer to learn all aspects of upholstery within the industry over a duration of 24 months.

What you'll do

• All aspects of upholstery training
• New furniture, sofas and chairs
• Reupholsetry of new and old furniture
• Quality check work
• Follow H&S requiremnts
• Follow customer specifications

Training

• Training will be in the Work place (WBL)
• Reviews every 6 weeks with a qualified tutor

After the apprenticeship

• Level 3 Advanced Upholsterer
• Level 4 Process Leader
• Options discussed upon successful completion

About the employer

Our grandad Albert, a true English gentleman, was an upholstery expert since his 20s, honing his skills at various places throughout his career. Apprenticeship details

• Course: Furniture manufacturer (level 2), Engineering and manufacturing
• Apprenticeship level: Intermediate (level 2)
• Training provider: NORTH LANCS. TRAINING GROUP C.I.C.
• Expected duration: 2 Years
• Hours: 39 hours a week. Working week: Monday- Thursday 06.45- 15.00

Friday 06.30- 15.00

• Start date: 16 November 2026
• Positions available: 1
• Wage: £16,224 a year
