Internal Growth Execution Apprenticeship Programme

Our Internal Growth team helps different parts of Howden work together to support clients and grow the business.

As an apprentice, you'll work with teams across the company, support projects, track results, create presentations and help turn ideas into action, giving you a broad view of how the business operates.

What you'll do

• Learn how to use data to track activity, monitor progress and help the team understand what is working well.  
• Support campaigns that encourage teams across Howden to identify and share opportunities for existing clients.  
• Work closely with the marketing team to create engaging communications.  
• Support with preparing clear presentations and updates for meetings with senior stakeholders.  
• Play a core role in key meetings by taking accurate notes and following up on agreed actions.  
• Build your insurance knowledge through formal learning and practical experience with colleagues across the business.  

After the apprenticeship

Our apprentices join Howden on permanent contracts from day one. After successfully completing the 18-month programme, you'll transition out of the apprenticeship and continue developing your skills, expertise and career within your chosen area of the business.

Apprenticeship details

• Course: Business administrator (level 3), Business and administration
• Apprenticeship level: Advanced (level 3)
• Training provider: SR APPRENTICESHIPS LIMITED
• Expected duration: 1 Year 6 Months
• Hours: 37.5 hours a week. Working week: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm.
• Start date: 13 September 2027
• Positions available: 1
• Wage: £23,000 a year
