Pharmacy Services Assistant - Level 2 Apprenticeship

Start your pharmacy career with a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship. Gain hands-on experience while completing 6 hours of online coursework each week.

What you'll do

• Learning and carrying out dispensing and preparing prescriptions
• Manage prescription related queries
• Work with the team to carry out a variety of tasks within the pharmacy
• Have a patient facing role proving excellent service
• Carry out business tasks and development towards KPI
• Manage stock and deal with buying, storing and handling pharmacy medicines
• Manage prescription requests, receipts and queries

Training

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2.

The apprentice will receive practical training in the workplace alongside their normal pharmacy duties. They will also complete 6 hours of online coursework each week as part of their apprenticeship training. Training will be supported by their employer and training provider throughout the programme.

After the apprenticeship

On completion of Level 2, you will have the option to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship to become a Pharmacy Technician.

Must be able to speak Punjabi fluently.

• Hours: 42 hours a week. Working week: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 6.30pm, with a 1-hour lunch.
