Early Years Apprentice

An exciting opportunity is available at Whitstable Day Nursery for an Early Years Apprentice. You'll gain hands-on experience in a caring and stimulating environment, working alongside experienced professionals while earning and studying towards a recognised childcare qualification.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities:

• To provide high quality care and education to children and their families
• To promote and give a positive outlook of the nursery to all those who use our setting
• To work as part of a team
• To ensure the environment is kept safe and secure
• Adhere to and follow all nursery policies and procedures
• Ensure all aspects of your induction and development book are completed
• To complete all academic aspects of apprenticeship

After the apprenticeship

• Course: Early years educator (level 3), Education and early years
• Apprenticeship level: Advanced (level 3)
• Training provider: EKC GROUP
• Expected duration: 1 Year 6 Months
• Hours: 35 hours a week. Working week: 4 days a week, 7:30am - 6:30pm.
• Start date: 9 November 2026
• Positions available: 1
• Wage: £14,560 a year
