Delivery Manager

Delivery Manager £900 to £950 Inside IR35 London 3 days in office 6 months initially Please note, we are only able to consider candidates who have strong exposure to DevSecOps. Role Focus: Our client is a large financial services firm in London who have seen strong growth in engineering and a drive towards engineering excellence.

• Own and maintain an integrated engineering excellence and capability adoption roadmap.
• Coordinate onboarding, milestones, dependencies and readiness across multiple application and platform teams.
• Drive adoption of DevSecOps, CI/CD, quality engineering, test automation, observability and operational excellence capabilities.
• Ensure new capabilities are embedded into engineering workflows and deliver measurable improvements.
• Coordinate adoption of automation and self-service capabilities that reduce manual operational intervention.
• Delivery of governance & performance improvement Required Experience
• Proven experience delivering engineering transformation, engineering excellence or technology adoption initiatives across multiple software engineering or product teams as an Agile Coach or Delivery Manager
• Demonstrable success in helping teams adopt shared capabilities and achieve measurable improvements in delivery, quality, reliability or operational performance.
• Experience in a complex, engineering environment where availability, resilience and delivery performance are business-critical.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering delivery practices, including DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and engineering automation.
• Experience coordinating Product, Engineering, Platform and Operations stakeholders.
• Strong delivery management skills, including integrated planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, readiness and governance.
• A proactive, Agile delivery-focused approach to communication and stakeholder management
• Familiarity with GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Experience in financial services ideally, working on mission critical applications
