We create high-energy competition experiences that test every kind of athlete, and we're growing fast into new cities and new markets.

Role Description
The EU Event Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of ATHX events across the EU region. This role involves coordinating event logistics, managing timelines, and ensuring all operational elements are aligned and delivered on schedule. The manager will collaborate with internal teams to define event requirements, manage budgets, and oversee the event lifecycle from the planning phase to the post-event reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
- Own the end-to-end planning and delivery of your assigned ATHX events, from venue confirmation through build, live day(s) and de-rig to post-event close.
- Manage venue relationships, local suppliers and contractors for each event, working within the frameworks agreed by Operations leadership.
- Deliver every event to the ATHX Event Playbook and Run of Show. After each event, report on costs, incidents and athlete feedback. Budget & Cost Control

- Provide regular budget updates to senior management and key stakeholders where required. On-Site Leadership & Logistics
- Lead the on-site team of crew, contractors, volunteers and event staff. Work closely with the Event Build Manager and the Workforce Manager to solve problems on site in real time.
- Coordinate transport and logistics for your events working alongside the Head of Transport & Logistics, including load-in, load-out and local sub-hire from the approved equipment list. Health & Safety
- Ensure every event meets health & safety requirements: risk assessments, crowd management plans, contractor safety and local regulations. Maintain contingency plans for operational risks. Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement of event delivery. Review every event with your team, identify what to fix and implement the changes at the next event. Make sure every improvement is captured in the Playbook.
- Bring a curious and open mind to how we deliver events and how we can continue to develop events to deliver the best event experience for our athletes and spectators. Who We're Looking For Essential
