Software Developer - Boutique Hedge Fund C# React - London

My client, a boutique hedge fund, is seeking a senior software developer to join their in-house development team in London. The team builds and maintains internal applications for IT, operations, finance and other business functions across the firm, working closely with the stakeholders who rely on them. The successful candidate will have 8+ years' experience building software, with strong C# back-end skills and working knowledge of React on the front end. Experience with SQL databases is essential. The team is looking for a senior developer who can bring real-world experience, support colleagues and take ownership of projects from design through to delivery. Technical ability is only part of the picture. The firm wants someone curious and proactive, who engages with stakeholders to understand the underlying problem rather than simply building what has been requested, and who has the judgement to reshape a request when needed. Candidates who have broadened their experience through startups, side projects, or hands-on tinkering are particularly attractive.
