Dataops Engineer

We're looking for SC Cleared DataOps Engineers to join a growing Data Platforms team driving customers' digital and data transformation on modern cloud platforms. Locations: Newcastle/Portsmouth (2 days a week, travel can be expensed) Rate: £500 per day, Outside IR35 Whether your background is in data pipelines, DataOps and platform reliability, or full stack development with a strong data focus, there's may be place for you here. You'll work across the data lifecycle, from ingestion and processing to the APIs, applications and increasingly GenAI-powered tools that sit on top. What you'll be working on:

• Building scalable data pipelines, lakes, warehouses and streaming solutions (Spark, Airflow, dbt)
• Developing APIs, microservices and web applications that expose data securely
• Building GenAI applications such as RAG and conversational interfaces
• Running CI/CD and cloud-native deployments on Kubernetes / Red Hat OpenShift (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
• Embedding data quality, governance, observability and monitoring from the start What we're looking for:
• Solid experience in data engineering, DataOps, or full stack development with hands-on data work
• Strength in some of: Python, Java, Node.js, SQL, React
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD
• Good problem-solving and communication skills, and a collaborative approach Nice to have: PostgreSQL, OpenShift, GenAI/LLM integration, Power BI or Fabric, Agile/DevOps experience. You must have active SC Clearance. Sound interesting? Please apply direct for more detail.
