Engineering Manager (UX) West Sussex, 4 days a week £80,000 to £90,000 + bonus trg are partnered with a global medtech leader who are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead its global UX Development team. Key responsibilities
- Line-manage a team of UX Developers, covering hiring, performance, career development and motivation
- Set best practice for front-end development, testing, security and delivery
- Own and evolve the Design System and component library, and champion them so they're adopted across the business
- Oversee the UI monorepo and its tooling, including CI/CD, pipelines, testing, internationalisation and accessibility
- Build strong relationships with senior Product and Engineering leaders: agree scope, manage expectations and report progress You'll bring:
- 2+ years of management experience with 7+ years in frontend engineering
- Experience building and managing a design system or component library
- A solid grasp of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong influencing skills, including with senior stakeholders and across functions
- Experience working in a regulated environment
