Design Engineer

Design Engineer | Aerospace Hybrid | Bristol Permanent and contract opportunities considered KDC Projects is recruiting for an experienced Design Engineer to join an established aerospace engineering team in Bristol, supporting the delivery of structural design activities across a major aircraft programme. The role will involve delivering high-quality design solutions within scheduled project timelines, working alongside Lead Engineers and wider engineering teams. Key responsibilities:

• Delivering aerospace structural design solutions
• Scheming and 3D modelling
• Metallic and composite component design
• Supporting wing structure design activities
• Producing technical deliverables in line with project requirements
• Working within established aerospace design methodologies and processes Experience required:
• Previous aerospace design experience
• Experience working within an Airbus environment
• Strong scheming and modelling capability
• Aircraft structures experience
• Metallic and/or composite design experience
• Knowledge of Airbus methodologies and processes
