BIM Manager

BIM Manager | Role Required ! About the Role The OpportunityAs BIM Manager, you will work closely with senior technical leadership and project teams to ensure the successful implementation, management, and continuous improvement of BIM processes across a variety of sectors. You will take ownership of BIM delivery, support digital innovation initiatives, strong background working with Revit and help drive compliance with industry-leading standards. • Lead and manage BIM delivery across large-scale and multidisciplinary projects
• Develop strong relationships with project managers, design teams, and clients
• Oversee BIM execution plans, model management, and project information requirements
• Champion BIM best practice and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Support the development and implementation of BIM strategies, policies, and procedures
• Drive improvements in information management, quality assurance, and digital workflows
• Coordinate BIM activities across multiple stakeholders and project disciplines
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and model review workshops
• Undertake model federation, validation, quality audits, and clash detection
• Evaluate emerging BIM technologies and contribute to business cases for software investment
• Support training and mentoring of project teams in BIM processes and technologies Qualifications
• Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical or engineering discipline
• Engineering Technician (EngTech) status or equivalent professional recognition desirable
• Significant experience within BIM, design, drafting, modelling, or engineering environments Required Skills
• Proven experience leading BIM delivery within complex engineering, infrastructure, or construction environments
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards and BIM accreditation processes
• Experience implementing and managing BIM processes throughout project lifecycles
• Proficiency with:
• Revit
• AutoCAD
• Navisworks
• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Solibri Model Checker
• Experience managing Common Data Environments (CDEs), including ACC and Bentley ProjectWise
• Strong BIM coordination and clash detection experience
• Knowledge of COBie, NBS BIM Toolkit, and Uniclass classification systems
• Exposure to digital innovation, automation, and BIM development initiatives
• Dynamo and scripting experience is advantageous
• Experience with 4D and 5D BIM methodologies would be beneficial
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple project priorities
