Finance Assistant

Role: Finance Assistant Location: Hybrid Working, Bloomsbury, London (4 days office / 1 day WFH) Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our finance team in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will assist income auditors, finance analysts, and accountants with routine tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. What You'll Be Doing

• You will perform daily account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with credit card reconciliations, verifying transactions and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Support income auditors by preparing data for audits, reviewing revenue streams, and maintaining accurate records.
• Support income auditors by daily reconciliations between POS (Micros) and PMS HK, Opera, Infor,..)
• Aid finance analysts in data analysis, report generation, and forecasting activities using tools like Excel.
• Help finance accountants with journal entries, ledger maintenance, and month-end closing procedures.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Generate ad-hoc financial reports and assist with year-end preparations.
• Contribute to process improvements, automating routine tasks where possible. What We're Looking For
• You have proven experience in a finance role, with knowledge of accounting principles (AAT qualification or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Business central).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication skills for team collaboration and stakeholder interaction. What You'll Get
