- Please note this role is 2 days per week on site Our client is looking for a Microsoft Security Engineer to deliver a backlog of security improvements across Intune, Office 365, Windows 11 and its Microsoft enterprise mobility environment. Following the appointment of a new Head of Cyber Security, you will turn security recommendations into practical technical changes, working closely with the Infrastructure and Security teams. The role focuses on delivering BAU and project changes that strengthen security and keep services running reliably. Responsibilities
- Own the security change backlog, agreeing priorities with the Infrastructure and Security teams.
- Translate security recommendations into clear technical actions and implementation plans.
- Configure and improve security settings across Intune, Office 365 and Windows 11.
- Deliver security changes across the Microsoft enterprise mobility environment.
- Assess dependencies and operational impact before implementing changes.
- Test changes, resolve implementation issues and confirm that controls work as intended.
- Document configurations, completed changes and ongoing management requirements.
- Keep both teams informed of progress, blockers and outstanding risks.
