This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded Financial Planner who wants to build their own client bank, develop long-term client relationships and play a key role in the growth of a regional Wealth Management proposition. You'll benefit from the backing of an established professional services network, providing access to a strong referral network and opportunities to work with business owners, entrepreneurs and private individuals. While there may be a small number of existing client relationships available to take over, the primary focus will be on developing your own portfolio and generating new business, with the support of an established professional network. • Build and develop your own client bank, primarily from the ground up.
• Generate new business through professional referrals, networking and existing client relationships.
• Develop long-term relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs and private individuals.
• Identify opportunities to introduce financial planning services to prospective clients.
• Manage the full client relationship, from initial engagement through to ongoing reviews.
• Conduct comprehensive client consultations to understand financial objectives, circumstances, risk profiles and long-term goals.
• Provide holistic financial planning advice across investments, pensions, retirement planning, estate planning, inheritance tax and protection.
• Develop tailored recommendations and ensure advice remains appropriate as clients' circumstances evolve.
• Work closely with paraplanning and administrative colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience.
• Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance, keeping up to date with FCA requirements, technical developments and CPD. About You We're looking for an experienced Financial Adviser or Financial Planner who combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine appetite for business development. Ideally, you'll have:
• Proven experience as a UK Financial Adviser or Financial Planner.
• Experience providing holistic financial planning advice.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, retirement planning, estate planning and tax-efficient solutions.
• Experience building a client bank, or a strong desire and commercial drive to do so.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the confidence to develop new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to convert professional referrals into long-term client relationships.
• The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
• A strong commitment to client outcomes, professional integrity and FCA compliance.
• Chartered Financial Planner status is preferred.
