Corporate M&A Associate Energy & Natural Resources Location: London PQE: 3+ Working pattern: Full-time, with agile working available Salary: Competitive I'm working with a leading international law firm looking to appoint a Corporate M&A Associate to its London Energy & Natural Resources practice. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded international team advising major corporates, investors and financial institutions on sophisticated UK and cross-border transactions. The position has a particular focus on the oil and gas and infrastructure sectors. The work will include:

• Public and private M&A
• Acquisitions and disposals
• Joint ventures and strategic alliances
• Corporate restructurings
• Complex cross-border transactions
• Corporate and commercial arrangements within the energy and natural-resources markets
• Managing transaction workstreams and coordinating with international and multidisciplinary teams
• Developing direct relationships with clients The ideal candidate will have:
• Approximately 3+ years' PQE
• Strong corporate M&A experience gained within a leading City, international or US law firm
• Meaningful exposure to energy and natural-resources transactions
• Experience across oil and gas and/or infrastructure matters
• Excellent drafting and technical skills
• A strong academic record, ideally including a minimum 2:1 degree
• The ability to manage transactions and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
