M&A Director

Location: UK or Europe | Confidential Search IRG Apex Partners has been engaged to identify an M&A Director for a private equity-backed group engaged in an international buy-and-build strategy. The Role

• Identify and develop acquisition opportunities, including direct engagement with business owners.
• Lead transactions from initial assessment through due diligence, negotiation and completion.
• Prepare valuations, financial analysis and investment recommendations.
• Manage external advisers and multiple live transactions.
• Work closely with the investor and wider leadership team on acquisition priorities. The Candidate
• Candidates will have started their careers in investment banking, Big Four or a similar corporate finance advisory environment, before moving into an in-house M&A role within an acquisitive business
• You'll have a demonstrable track record of leading buy-side transactions, taking ownership of deals from initial evaluation through to completion, with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
• International transaction experience and proficiency in an additional European language would be advantageous.
