Project Manager (Electrical Systems) Initial 6-Month Contract | Based onsite in Guildford | Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Lead the Delivery of Cutting-Edge Space Technology An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a highly complex electrical systems programme within the space sector. This 6-month contract role will see you guiding a multidisciplinary engineering team through the final stages of design, manufacture, integration, verification, testing and qualification of advanced electronic systems destined for a high-performance space application. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position where you'll work closely with engineering teams on-site in Guildford, driving progress, mitigating risks and ensuring the programme is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Project Manager (Electrical Systems) The Role As Project Manager, you will take ownership of programme delivery, coordinating activities across engineering disciplines and ensuring technical and commercial objectives are achieved. You'll play a pivotal role in resolving challenges, maintaining stakeholder alignment and driving project momentum throughout the final development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex electrical and electronic systems to internal stakeholders and programme customers.
• Manage all aspects of project planning, scheduling, risk management and delivery governance.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring activities remain aligned with agreed project plans.
• Structure and manage project work packages, securing resources and delivery commitments from engineering teams.
• Build strong working relationships with technical leaders, engineering managers and key stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate programme risks, implementing robust action plans to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor project performance, budgets and forecasts, maintaining control of costs and contingency plans.
• Drive delivery to agreed schedule, quality and performance targets. Project Manager (Electrical Systems) What We're Looking For
• Proven experience managing complex engineering or space-sector programmes.
• Strong track record of delivering electrical, electronics or systems engineering projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, FPGA, electronics and test environments would be highly advantageous.
• Understanding of verification, acceptance and qualification testing within complex engineering environments.
