Senior MEP Planner

The Role We are seeking a Senior MEP Planner to support the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical building services projects. The role will be hands on initially before the opportunity to build and manage a team down the line. Key Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain integrated project programmes covering design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Monitor site progress, update schedules and highlight risks to key milestones.
• Undertake critical path reviews and provide clear guidance to delivery teams on sequencing and mitigation strategies.
• Support pre-construction activities including tender programmes and methodology input.
• Ensure programmes align with contractual obligations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate progress reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and supply chain partners to ensure realistic and achievable schedules. About You
• Background in Mechanical & Electrical / Building Services projects.
• Experience using Asta Powerproject.
• Understanding of construction sequencing and commissioning processes within MEP environments.
• Exposure to programme updates, short-term planning or tender planning.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams and clients.
• Relevant qualification in Building Services, Construction Management or similar (HNC/HND/Degree desirable but not essential). This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in planning within a supportive and technically strong environment.
