Senior Technical Paraplanner

Senior Technical Paraplanner Location: Marlow Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days from home We are working with an established wealth management business that is looking to appoint a Senior Technical Paraplanner / Technical Specialist to join its team. The business is looking for someone with strong technical knowledge who can confidently engage with advisers and clients, contribute to the wider financial planning process and bring a strong understanding of investments and private client work. The Role You will provide high-level technical support across a range of complex financial planning cases, working closely with advisers and clients. The role will involve:

• Providing technical input across pensions, investments and wider financial planning.
• Supporting advisers with research, analysis and the preparation of recommendations.
• Working with private clients and high-net-worth individuals.
• Attending client meetings and confidently contributing to client conversations.
• Applying strong investment knowledge to financial planning recommendations.
• Reviewing client circumstances and identifying appropriate planning opportunities.
• Preparing high-quality technical documentation and suitability reports.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory and technical developments.
• Working closely with advisers and the wider team to deliver a high-quality client service. About You We are looking for someone who is highly technically capable, rather than simply someone with a set number of years' paraplanning experience. You are likely to have:
• Level 4 financial planning qualifications, ideally working towards or having achieved Chartered status.
• Strong technical knowledge across investments and financial planning.
• Experience working with private clients and/or high-net-worth individuals.
• The confidence to attend client meetings and hold conversations directly with clients.
• A strong understanding of investment principles and how these feed into holistic financial planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with advisers and colleagues.
• A genuine interest in providing technically strong, client-focused financial planning support. Why Consider the Role?
