Java Software Engineer

🚀 We're hiring: 4 Java Software Engineers | Tyne & Wear Akkodis is growing its Software Engineering team, and we're looking for 4 Software Engineers to join us in Tyne & Wear. 🔐 UK Clearance needed 🏢 Hybrid working: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote You'll be joining a collaborative Agile engineering team, developing modern cloud-based applications and working across the complete software lifecycle. 💻 Your role will include:

• Developing applications using Java
• Building cloud-based applications and services
• Writing clean, maintainable and testable code
• Creating unit tests and contributing to automated testing
• Participating in technical design and code reviews
• Building secure and scalable solutions
• Working closely with engineers across an Agile delivery environment 🎯 We'd like to hear from people with:
• Commercial Java development experience
• Experience with cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge of unit testing and good software engineering practices
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with Tekton, ArgoCD, SonarQube, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Quarkus or Angular would also be beneficial.
