Product and Solution Marketer
at PrecursiveBefore you read on, stop! This is not a standard product marketing role. We need someone who can build the positioning and then deploy it commercially, identifying white space accounts, enabling our BD function to self-source, and turning a 247-strong engaged community into active pipeline. If you want to write decks and hand them over to sales, this role is not for you. If you want to own the commercial outcome from the first message to the first meeting, read on. WHO WE ARE About Precursive. Precursive is an AI-powered professional services platform helping services organisations deliver better outcomes, faster and more profitably. Our platform spans resource management, project delivery, and services intelligence, and we are growing rapidly in the enterprise and mid-market. We are a member of the Services Delivery Alliance (SDA), an industry authority for professional services leaders. With over 800 member companies, and 1000 members actively engaging this year plus a growing calendar of curated sessions and content, the SDA is one of our most powerful allies in helping Services leaders be better. THE ROLE The Opportunity. Marketing at Precursive punches above its weight. This year, circa 90% of closed deals were sourced by marketing. We have a proven content machine, a warm community, and a growing account intelligence capability. What we are missing is the person who bridges product marketing and commercial activation, someone who can turn our positioning into pipeline and our community into customers. This is a standalone hire with significant scope. You will work directly with the SVP of Marketing and BD team, and your output will be measured in pipeline created and sales velocity improved, not content volume. RESPONSIBILITIES What You'll Do. 01. PRODUCT & SOLUTION MARKETING
- Define and maintain Precursive's positioning and messaging across ICP segments, translating product capability/features into commercial value propositions.
- Own competitive intelligence: track the market, build and refresh battlecards, and ensure BD can answer any objection with confidence.
- Develop solution narratives for our core use cases; AI-driven services intelligence & growth, outcome based delivery, and trusted forecasting, all led with buyer pain, not necessarily product features.
- Lead product launch go-to-market plans, coordinating across product, marketing, and sales (revenue team).
- Create and maintain high-quality sales assets: one-pagers, case studies, ROI tools, pitch decks, and objection-handling guides, with production sped-up with AI.
- COMMERCIAL ACTIVATION & ABM
- Own our account-based marketing approach, identifying and prioritising white space accounts across our priority account and within our community.
- Build account intelligence plays: surface signals from engagement, content consumption, and event attendance to guide commercial outreach.
- Activate our network commercially, designing structured pathways from community engagement to commercial conversation, in partnership with BD.
- Define and execute pipeline-generating campaigns targeted at named accounts, not massive audiences.
- Track and report on account progression from identified to engaged to pipeline, owning the commercial success metrics, not just marketing metrics.
- SALES ENABLEMENT
- Build the infrastructure for AE and BD self-sourcing: outbound sequences, conversation starters, talk tracks, and intel-to-outreach plays.
- Run enablement sessions with the BD team, not slide-based training, but practical plays they can use within the same week.
- Ensure the team knows how to activate intel, competitive positioning, and account signals to open and advance deals.
- Maintain a pared-down but living library of sales assets in a format the team will actually use. REQUIREMENTS What We're Looking For. ESSENTIAL
- Circa 3-5 years in a B2B SaaS marketing role with clear exposure to pipeline generation, not just campaign delivery.
- Strong product marketing fundamentals: positioning, messaging, ICP definition, and go-to-market planning.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen; you talk in pipeline, conversion, and revenue, not impressions and clicks.
- Experience in ABM or account-based approaches: identifying target accounts, building account plans, and running account-level campaigns.
- A track record of building sales enablement assets that sales teams actually use and numerical evidence that they moved the needle.
- Comfortable working directly with BD and AE teams: presenting plays, running enablement sessions, and getting feedback in the room.
- CRM literacy, comfortable in Salesforce & Hubspot, able to read pipeline data, and willing to own your own contribution to it.
- Strong written communication: you write clearly, commercially, and in plain English. NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in professional services, services software, or a vertical with complex buying cycles.
- Familiarity with community-led growth models or experience marketing through a community property.
- Exposure to intent data tools, and potentially ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, or similar), or sales engagement platforms.
- Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment where you've had to build processes from scratch that you personally executed on. WHAT COMMERCIAL ACUMEN MEANS TO US We are not looking for someone who is simply "commercially aware." We want someone who is uncomfortable if they don't know the current pipeline position, who reads a Salesforce report as naturally as a campaign dashboard, who gets energised by a conversation that turns into a qualified opportunity, and who measures their own performance in deals influenced, not assets and content produced. THE PACKAGE What We Offer.
- Salary £65-70k, depending on experience.
- Performance based-bonus, tied to revenue targets.
- A high-impact, high-visibility role with direct influence on revenue outcomes.
- Close collaboration with senior leadership across marketing, BD, and product.
- Access to a career growing community, one of the best warm audiences in professional services, and the mandate to activate it.
- A lean, fast-moving marketing team where your work will be seen, used, and valued immediately.
- Flexible working, remote-friendly with team gatherings in London and at events.
