Business Development Manager (6-Month Temporary Contract) Up to £90,000 | City of London | Immediate Start Our prestigious international law firm client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their London office on an initial 6-month temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a BD or Senior BD Manager professional to partner with lawyers and stakeholders across a global platform, driving strategic client development, pitches, market initiatives, and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with practice group leaders to develop and execute business and client development strategies.
• Lead and manage high-value pitches, proposals and RFP responses from inception through to submission.
• Drive client relationship initiatives and identify opportunities to strengthen existing and prospective client relationships.
• Deliver competitor, market and client research to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate business development meetings, action plans and reporting across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Support marketing initiatives, events, sponsorships, directory submissions and thought leadership campaigns.
• Act as a trusted advisor to partners on client development, pitch preparation and business growth opportunities.
• Manage and mentor junior members of the BD team while promoting best practice and collaboration. Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years' business development experience within a legal environment.
• Proven experience leading complex pitches, proposals and client development initiatives.
• Strong commercial awareness and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
• Previous team management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
