Account Manager - Fine Art

At Alchemy we are recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join an established international Fine Art Shipping and Storage company based in London. This position would suit someone with a strong background in fine art logistics, excellent knowledge of international shipping and customs procedures, and experience managing relationships with galleries, collectors and other fine art clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of fine art and antiques, including imports, exports and customs clearance.
• Oversee client projects from initial enquiry through to delivery, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
• Prepare quotations, manage invoicing and oversee shipment-related documentation.
• Advise clients on shipping procedures, customs requirements and transport arrangements.
• Ensure shipments are delivered efficiently, meeting client expectations and agreed timelines.
• Identify opportunities to develop existing accounts and strengthen client relationships. Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience in fine art shipping, logistics or specialist transportation is essential.
• Experience in an Account Manager, Fine Art Shipping Coordinator or similar client-facing position.
• Strong understanding of international shipping, customs procedures and documentation.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
