Housekeeper - Neurosurgery

We are pleased to advertise a vacancy for a Band 2 Housekeeper in Neurosurgery at Salford Royal Hospital. B8 is an 18 bedded Acute Neurosurgical Unit providing care for patients at Salford Royal Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties and Responsibilities Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain ward cleanliness to national standards, follow infection control guidelines. Catering and Nutrition: Prepare and serve meals, hand out menus, note patient dietary requirements, and provide drinks and snacks. Ward Organisation: Order non-clinical supplies, manage stock levels. Maintenance and Admin: Report facility faults or maintenance issues. Patient Care Support: Talk to and reassure patients and families.
