The Role:

The Person:

The successful candidate will have experience in a comparable technical role within a product-focused environment that is driving innovation in high-performance computing. You enjoy working collaboratively across teams and bring creativity, curiosity, and initiative to your work and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop expertise in cycle-accurate core microarchitecture performance simulator development, workload and trace analysis, microarchitecture development, and RTL-to-performance model correlation.
• Collaborate with a team of hardware and software engineers to develop innovative features that optimize CPU microarchitecture performance.
• Partner with design teams on broader architectural features and contribute to methodology improvements.

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in C++ and scripting languages.
• Background in computer architecture through academic study and/or industry experience.
• Experience with cycle-accurate microarchitecture performance simulator development.
• Experience with pre-silicon performance analysis.
• Knowledge of computing software, including operating systems, compilers, and applications.
• Evidence of technical leadership, innovation, or perseverance through publications, patents, or other industry contributions.

Academic Credentials:

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
