About The Role

FDM is a global

This is a mostly remote role requiring travel to Plymouth 2-3 times per month (expenses paid). Due to the nature of the project, candidates must be eligible to pass the required security vetting and right-to-work checks.

Working within a

controls, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and support

decision-making through clear documentation and reporting.

  • Maintain project

documentation, governance packs, meeting minutes, action logs, and status

reports

  • Coordinate stakeholder

meetings, workshops, and project reviews

  • Monitor project progress,

risks, issues, dependencies, and actions, escalating where appropriate

  • Support project planning,

scheduling, and resource coordination activities

  • Ensure requirements remain

aligned to business objectives and project deliverables

  • Contribute to project

reporting and provide updates to key stakeholders and project leadership

  • Foster effective

communication between business, technical, and delivery teams

About You

  • Proven experience working in

an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar project

  • Strong requirements

management experience

  • Experience using DOORS or

comparable requirements management tools

  • Practical experience applying

requirements prioritisation techniques such as MoSCoW

  • Understanding of project

delivery methodologies and governance frameworks

documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management activities

  • Ability to manage multiple

priorities in a fast-paced project environment

  • Strong analytical and

organisational skills

  • Excellent stakeholder

engagement and communication skills

  • Strong written and verbal

communication skills

  • Ability to obtain the

required security clearance and pass right-to-work checks

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on

defence, government, engineering, or other highly regulated programmes

  • Familiarity with systems

engineering or requirements engineering environments

  • Knowledge of project

management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or APM
