About The Role

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Qlik Developer to work for our client within the Financial Services sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully office based role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a Qlik developer to rebuild their MiFID transaction reporting from the ground up - it's a hands-on role focused on untangling complex stored procedures and moving to a modern reporting layer.

Responsibilities:

  • Rewrite and redevelop MiFID transaction reporting logic currently implemented in complex SQL stored procedures into Qlik-based reporting solutions
  • Analyse existing reporting logic, data structures, and transformation rules embedded in legacy stored procedures
  • Design and build scalable, maintainable data models and reporting layers in Qlik
  • Work closely with trading / regulatory teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory reporting outputs
  • Validate and reconcile new Qlik outputs against legacy reporting to ensure consistency
  • Support testing, implementation and rollout of the new reporting solution
  • Collaborate with global teams

About You

  • 7+ years' experience in data / reporting / development roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qlik (Qlik Sense / QlikView)
  • Advanced expertise in:
  • SQL development
  • Complex stored procedures
  • Data modelling and transformation
  • Proven experience working with large, complex datasets in financial services environments
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to reverse-engineer legacy logic

Preferred:
