Cleaning Assistant

About The Role:

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to provide term-time cover across Aileymill, All Saints, Clydeview and Notre Dame.

You must be able to travel between these schools and be flexible with your allocated site and agreed shifts.

Possible shifts

• Clydeview mornings: Monday-Friday, 5.30am-8.30am.

• Notre Dame mornings: Monday-Friday, 6am-9am.

• Clydeview and Notre Dame afternoons: Monday-Tuesday, 3.45pm-6.45pm; Wednesday-Friday, 3pm-6pm.

• All Saints and Aileymill afternoons: Monday-Thursday, 3pm-6.15pm; Friday, 3pm-6pm.

Your working pattern and any additional hour required will be discussed at interview.

Key duties

• Clean floors, furniture, glass, toilets and other allocated areas.

• Empty bins and replenish supplies.

• Use cleaning products and equipment safely.

• Report hazards, defects or damage promptly.

• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain confidentiality.

• Support the cleaning team across sites as required.

About you

• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently or in a team.

• Able to travel between schools and cover agreed shifts.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Cleaning experience is preferred.

• BICSc certification is desirable; full training will be provided.
