The Role You'll Play

• Partner with Product, Design, and QA to bring features to life from ideation through deployment, always iterating with the end-user in mind.
• Design and develop backend services and APIs that are robust, maintainable, and user-friendly.
• Champion engineering excellence through practices like automated testing, thoughtful code reviews, and effective monitoring.
• Push for simplicity and eliminate unnecessary complexity, all while delivering reliable, high-quality software that delights users.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help shape how microservices interact across a growing, service-oriented ecosystem.
• Lead with curiosity—seeking feedback, learning from diverse perspectives, and mentoring others along the way.
• Be a driving force for positive change, culture, and collaboration on a team that values autonomy and impact.

Experience You Bring

• Senior-level experience developing backend systems for large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java, Kotlin, C, and comfort working in a mixed stack.
• Experience architecting and designing backend services in a microservices environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or Kibana, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating system risks.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), design patterns, and Agile methodologies.
• Skilled in SQL and relational databases, with a clear eye on performance and maintainability.
• Strong communicator who collaborates well across roles and backgrounds.
• Passion for delivering meaningful solutions, learning constantly, and helping others grow.
