Financial Controller

We're supporting a global aviation business in hiring a Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across Germany and Austria. This role gives you full ownership of finance across three key European markets, working directly with senior leadership and Country Managers while influencing commercial, operational, and strategic decisions. Responsibilities will include:

• Full ownership of budgets, cash flow forecasting and management accounts
• Payroll, expenses, tax submissions and intercompany reconciliations
• Monthly/quarterly close, accruals and Balance Sheet control
• Supplier management and payment approvals
• Supporting commercial negotiations and contract discussions
• Acting as the key finance contact for Germany & Austria
• Working closely with central finance hubs Candidate profile:
• ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified
• Fluent German speaker
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
• Confident operating independently and managing multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Advanced Excel; SAP experience a bonus
• Experience in the German market is highly desirable
