Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Engineer Cambridge | Building Services Consultancy | Hybrid Working Are you an Electrical Building Services Engineer looking to develop your career with a leading consultancy known for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions? Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing Cambridge office. You'll work on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including Science & Research, Healthcare, Commercial and Education, collaborating with experienced engineers on technically challenging developments that make a real impact. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing experience, gain exposure to complex projects and progress towards Chartership within a supportive environment. The Role You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, assisting in the delivery of electrical building services designs from concept through to completion. Key responsibilities include:

• Producing electrical designs for power, lighting and emergency systems.
• Preparing calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Coordinating designs with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Attending design team and client meetings.
• Reviewing contractor information and site installations.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Working closely with senior engineers to develop your technical expertise.
• Contributing to the delivery of high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions. About You
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience within a Building Services consultancy environment.
• Knowledge of electrical building services design principles.
• Familiarity with software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Dialux.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Working towards professional accreditation such as IEng or CEng. What's on Offer?
