An opportunity to create a website for Plastic Free Alliance UK

• a national network of organisations and businesses who are concerned about the impacts of single-use plastic and plastic pollution. What difference will you make? The scale of the new Plastic Free Alliance UK will be large - many organisations and businesses across the UK care about reducing single-use plastic and plastic pollution. This opportunity will provide your design work to be seen by hundreds - and will unlock many opportunities for organisations to become part of the Plastic Free movement in the UK. Not only is the website promoting the Alliance, but it's also promoting The Plastic Free Gathering - a one day summit of talks and workshops showcasing ground breaking ideas and solutions with a programme full of discussions and case studies from those leading the change. 80 people attended the event this year and numbers are set to grow in 2027 - marking 10 years since the remarkable Blue Planet 2 BBC programme. 2027 marks an important year in the UK for taking action on plastic, as organisations and businesses look to give Sir David Attenborough the best legacy he could ask for. They will be looking for a platform to help them to take action on plastic, and this new platform and network can give them just that. What are we looking for? Web design and development skills Remote What will you be doing? We are are looking for someone to create a website for Plastic Free Alliance UK

• Home
• About us
• Members (directory of members)
• Become a member
• The Plastic Free Gathering (and a subset of pages from our current website - https //www.theplasticfreegathering.co.uk)
• Contact us The actual platform for the network is hosted on a different website and so this website is more of an advertisement and springboard to the network.
