Liberay Legal offers opportunities for development within a supportive We are looking for a housing disrepair fee earner to run a caseload of claims on behalf of tenants, acting claimant side. Depending on your experience, this could sit at the pre litigation or litigation stage. What you will do
Run your own caseload of housing disrepair claims from instruction onward
Draft letters of claim, schedules of disrepair, witness statements and other legal documents
Instruct surveyors and experts, review disclosure, and value claims
Negotiate settlements and make Part 36 offers
Keep vulnerable clients clearly updated throughout What we are looking for
Experience running housing disrepair claims, claimant side
Confidence drafting and managing your own files
A good understanding of the pre action protocol and civil procedure
Strong client care, particularly with vulnerable clients
Experience with a case management system, Proclaim desirable
Open to qualified solicitors, CILEX and experienced paralegals What we offer
