Askham Bryan College - York - Northern Education 23 October 2026 Job Title: Course Manager – Golf & Sports Turf Location: York Contract Type: 1FTE, Permanent Salary: SP26 £31,758 to SP29 £34,700 per annum About The Role We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for delivering high quality training for apprentices on programme, to ensure a positive experience and timely achievement of the apprenticeship. The Successful Candidate Will

• Deliver high quality teaching to an agreed annual caseload.
• To monitor, review and assess an appropriate caseload of apprentices on programme throughout the United Kingdom.
• To engage employers and assist applicants in finding suitable employment.
• To undertake contract set-up visits to employers prior to the enrolment of apprentices.
• To undertake health and safety reviews of employers premises and all related monitoring.
• To plan and deliver induction programmes for all apprentices. Candidates should be educated to Level 3 or above in a relevant subject with prior experience in Greenkeeping or Sports Turf sectors and grade 4's in Maths and English. Interviews: TBC Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
