People Partner – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)Location: Kinmel, North WalesWe're recruiting for a People Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional, perfect for someone passionate about building capability and bringing out the best in people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.As a key member of the site leadership team, you'll be the go-to People expert for a busy manufacturing site of around 100 colleagues. You'll work closely with the leadership team and line managers to develop capability, manage talent and help the site deliver its strategic priorities. You'll need to hit the ground running, building trusted relationships quickly and keeping the People agenda moving throughout the contract.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the People agenda on site, covering everyday HR support, compliance and the projects that add valueWork with the site leadership team on development and succession planning, so the site has the right people and skills for the futureCoach and support line managers to manage performance, build capability and take ownership of people decisionsInterpret HR policy and employment legislation, and guide managers so it's applied consistently and fairlyGive practical, timely advice on people issues, balancing what individuals need with what the business needsLead recruitment planning for the site, with a focus on time to fill, budget and turnoverEngage with trade unions and colleague representatives on terms and conditions, negotiations and consultations, including the annual pay awardLead and support the wider HR team so colleagues stay engaged and able to reach their potentialAbout youCIPD qualified, or with equivalent experience gained in HRExperience in an HR leadership role, ideally in a multi-functional manufacturing environmentUp-to-date knowledge of employment legislationProactive and organised, able to work flexibly to meet deadlines and deliver resultsDemonstrative attention to detail and turning data into insights and action plansConfident building relationships and influencing at all levels across a diverse workforceComfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and HRIS systemsAt INSPIRED, we want to inspire colleagues to join, stay, develop, and achieve, creating an inclusive and sustainable business fit for growth.
