Business Analyst - Insurance 35 - 50K

Work closely with business and technology teams across the organization. About Our Client Our client is in the insurance industry and located in Kwun Tong.

Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align technology solutions with business objectives.

Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications for development teams.

Act as the key liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure effective communication and successful solution delivery.

Support the analysis, design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of business applications and systems.

Participate in product launches, system enhancements, process improvements, and production support activities, including incident investigation and resolution.

Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.

Prepare business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and impact assessments to support system implementation and change initiatives.

Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.

Collaborate with project teams throughout the project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, UAT coordination, implementation, and post-production support.

Conduct research and analysis of complex business and technical issues, providing practical recommendations and solutions. The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2-4 years of Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst experience.

Experience working within Financial Services (Banking, Insurance) or Healthcare environments; insurance industry experience is highly preferred.

Strong hands-on experience in requirement elicitation, business process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and recommend effective solutions.

Experience supporting product launches, system enhancements, change requests, and production incident management.

Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies.

Basic understanding of application systems and programming concepts to facilitate communication with technical teams.

Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.

Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese proficiency is an advantage.

Experience with insurance products and end-to-end new business processes, including frontend sales platforms and backend operations, would be a strong advantage.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Hong Kong permanent residency or valid Hong Kong work authorization is preferred. What's on Offer
