This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, helping students develop a love of English literature and language while achieving excellent academic outcomes.

The Role

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Support the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and pastoral responsibilities.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Has experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom practice.
• Is committed to raising achievement for all students.
• Possesses strong communication and organisational skills.
• ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply.
