Job title: Growth Marketing Manager Location: London (2-3 days in office) We're working with a fast-growing, founder-led D2C consumer brand looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to take ownership of its next stage of growth. The business has grown significantly over the last 12 months, has recently secured external investment and is now building out its marketing function as it scales across the UK and Europe. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants real ownership. You'll work closely with the founder, bringing structure to the growth strategy while remaining very hands-on across creative, performance, eCommerce and content. The primary focus is paid media and commercial DTC growth. Client already has specialist agencies executing Meta, Google and Amazon, so this person does not need to be the day-to-day media buyer sitting in the platforms. Instead, they will own and steer the agencies — setting strategy, targets, budgets, channel priorities and testing roadmaps, interrogating performance and making sure the agencies are delivering against revenue and growth objectives. The sweet spot is someone who combines analytics + creative. They need to be strong enough analytically to look at performance across Meta, Google and Amazon and understand what is happening across CAC, ROAS/MER, conversion, AOV, revenue, attribution and channel performance. But they also need a strong creative brain: understanding what creative is working, why it's working, what messaging/angles to test next and how creative should evolve to improve paid performance. DTC/eCommerce brand experience remains essential. We want someone who has been inside a scaling consumer brand and understands the wider commercial picture rather than someone whose experience is purely agency-side or purely paid-media execution. Must-have: DTC/eCommerce brand-side experience; strong Meta and Google understanding; experience managing/challenging paid-media agencies; highly analytical and commercially minded; comfortable with significant acquisition budgets; strong understanding of creative performance/testing; and able to demonstrate actual revenue/growth outcomes. Amazon is valuable, particularly someone who understands Amazon performance and can effectively manage an Amazon agency, but I wouldn't necessarily make hands-on Amazon Ads expertise mandatory. The important distinction is that we don't need someone whose USP is pressing the buttons in Meta/Google. The agencies are doing that. We need someone who knows the channels well enough to tell the agencies what they should be doing, challenge them when performance isn't good enough and identify where the next growth opportunity sits. What you'll be doing

  • Own and develop the growth marketing strategy across D2C and key digital channels.
  • Bring together paid, organic, eCommerce, content and retention into a clear commercial growth plan.
  • Manage external performance agencies, setting targets, challenging performance and ensuring activity is aligned.
  • Own creative direction across paid media, campaigns and customer-facing content.
  • Improve the website, landing pages and conversion journey.
  • Develop and test new campaigns, creative concepts and growth opportunities.
  • Use CAC, conversion, retention, revenue and channel performance to decide where to invest and what to test next.
  • Support product and campaign launches from idea through to execution.
  • Build a scalable content creation process and coordinate shoots and creative production.
  • Help hire and manage a junior marketing/creative resource as the team grows. What we're looking for We're not looking for someone who wants to sit above the detail and manage agencies. This is a hands-on growth role where you'll move between strategy, creative and execution. You'll ideally have:
  • Experience within a D2C/eCommerce consumer brand, ideally during a high-growth stage.
  • A track record of delivering measurable commercial growth.
  • Strong understanding of paid acquisition, particularly Meta and Google.
  • Experience managing and challenging external performance agencies.
  • Good knowledge of Shopify, CRO and eCommerce conversion.
  • A strong creative eye – you understand what good content and creative looks like and can turn that into campaigns that perform.
  • Strong copywriting and content skills.
  • An understanding of CRM, retention and lifecycle marketing.
  • The ability to generate ideas, test quickly and learn from performance.
  • Experience within health, wellness, food & beverage or consumer technology would be useful, but isn't essential. Most importantly, you'll be someone who is commercial, creative and entrepreneurial. You'll enjoy working in a smaller business where things move quickly, priorities change and you're expected to take ownership rather than wait for instructions. The founder is particularly interested in someone who combines the analytical side of growth marketing with a genuinely strong creative instinct – rather than being purely performance or platform focused.
