Management Accountant Leicester | £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office-Based) A well-established, multi-site organisation is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join its growing finance function in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to take ownership of month-end reporting, financial analysis and balance sheet integrity within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role would suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, understanding the story behind the numbers and providing meaningful financial insight to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of the month-end close process
• Preparation and posting of journals, accruals and prepayments
• Detailed balance sheet reconciliations and review of key control accounts
• Revenue, commission and profitability analysis
• Production of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Variance analysis and financial performance commentary
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Work closely with operational and finance stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy
• Identify risks, trends and opportunities through robust financial analysis
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes and controls About You ✔ ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified ✔ Previous industry experience within a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant or similar role ✔ Strong month-end and management accounting experience ✔ Proven background performing meaningful balance sheet reconciliations and understanding the commercial drivers behind balances ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ✔ Experience of revenue analysis and financial reporting ✔ Sage 200 experience highly desirable ✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
