A highly regarded secondary school in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated students within a supportive and well-resourced department.

The successful candidate will be confident teaching Economics at KS4 and KS5 and ideally be able to teach a second subject, enabling them to contribute more widely across the school timetable.

The Role

• Teaching Economics to GCSE and A-Level students
• Delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire achievement
• Planning, preparing and assessing student progress
• Contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive department
• Teaching an additional subject would be advantageous

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Economics in UK secondary schools
• Possesses strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• Is passionate about achieving excellent outcomes for students
• Can teach an additional subject alongside Economics
