Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs?

We are currently recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Milton Keynes, supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities.
• Help manage behaviour positively and encourage engagement in learning.
• Support students' emotional, social and educational development.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff to provide the best outcomes for pupils.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have previous experience working with SEN students, particularly those with SEMH, ASC or SLD needs.
• Are available to work 5 days per week.
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Remain calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations.
• Are committed to supporting young people to achieve their potential.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred, but support can be provided if required).
