Senior In-House Counsel – Insurance (5 - 8+ PQE) Location: London Contract: Permanent Mandate: Exclusive & Confidential The Opportunity Wicker Hamilton has been exclusively instructed by an established international business to appoint a Senior In-House Counsel to its London legal team. This is a broad, commercially focused position offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to play an influential role within a growing organisation. Strong insurance experience, ideally within the London insurance market, is essential. The Role Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide pragmatic legal advice across a varied range of commercial and strategic matters. Responsibilities will include:

• Providing commercial and strategic legal advice to the business
• Advising on insurance-related legal and regulatory matters
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
• Supporting senior stakeholders on complex and business-critical matters
• Identifying and managing legal and regulatory risk
• Working collaboratively with teams across the wider international business
• Managing external counsel where appropriate Candidate Profile We are interested in speaking with lawyers who:
• Are qualified solicitors or equivalent
• Have strong insurance sector experience
• Have a good understanding of the London insurance market
• Can provide practical, commercially focused legal advice
• Are comfortable working directly with senior business stakeholders
