Financial Accountant

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a market leading new client in Reading to recruit a Financial Accountant for a 6 month contract. Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant include:

• Ensure financial results are accurate and fully compliant
• Provide support for annual statutory audit
• Provide support for all company and indirect tax returns
• Working in partnership with the wider finance team, support the month end close process
• Embrace PowerBI dashboards and big data to drive business performance
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place
• Support the UK's Statutory Accounting Officer compliance programme
• Maintain the tax control frameworks, risk matrices and related narratives Key Requirements of the Financial Accountant include:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
• Experience delivering UK statutory accounts and tax compliance activities
• Practical experience of using Microsoft Excel to an advanced level Pay Rate - £300-350/day (inside IR35) Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office, 3 days a week from home All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
