Litigation Assistant, Catastrophic Injury

Kennedys is seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Litigation Assistant to join our highly respected Catastrophic Injury team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career within a top‑tier practice, supporting the investigation and management of complex, high‑value cases for a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you will play a key part in managing serious motor claims, including sensitive matters that may attract national media attention. You'll also work closely with experienced fee‑earners, gaining exposure to some of the most challenging and rewarding work in the sector. About The Team Kennedys' Serious & Catastrophic Injury team, ranked Tier 1 by Legal 500, specialises in large loss and catastrophic injury claims arising from motor, employers' liability (EL), and public liability (PL) incidents. Our work spans cases of the utmost severity, including:

• Brain and spinal injuries
• Amputations
• Polytrauma
• Brachial plexus injuries
• Severe psychiatric injuries

• 1–2+ years' relevant experience in a legal support or litigation role*
• Experience in defendant personal injury litigation
• Ability to prepare medical chronologies
• Experience arranging expert appointments and conferences with counsel
• Experience supporting large cases within a team environment
