Commercial and Finance Controller

Commercial & Finance Controller £70,000 - £75,000 Birmingham Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Our client are a multi national food manufacturer. As Commercial and Finance Controller you will be the key Finance Business Partner for the Retail UK business and an important partner to the leadership team. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations and the wider organisation to translate commercial and operational developments into clear financial insights, realistic forecasts and concrete actions. A key priority is to strengthen forecast accuracy, commercial performance and financial decision-making. You will actively challenge business assumptions, opportunities, risks, pricing and profitability rather than simply report the numbers. Key Responsibilities

• Commercial business partnering & performance management
• Forecasting, Latest Estimate & Risks and Opportunities
• Pricing, tenders & commercial decision support
• Customer & product profitability
• Finance integration & continuous improvement Requirements
• 5 years experience in Commercial finance controlling
• Proven track record within manufacturing with a strong understanding of pricing, customer profitability and margin management
• Experience in a retail facing commercial finance position
• A Master's degree in Finance or related field (Desirable)
• Fluent use of MS Office, Excel, PowerBI
• Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
