Finance Manager

Our client is a well-established and highly respected independent finance provider looking to welcome a Finance Manager to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to kick-start their career in industry! Responsibilities:

• Leading month-end and year-end close processes.
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Overseeing payroll administration, accounts receivable, and sales ledger activities.
• Maintaining robust financial controls and governance procedures.
• Supporting regulatory compliance and strengthening the financial control framework.
• Assisting with statutory reporting requirements and acting as a key contact during external audits.
• Providing technical accounting support and guidance to the wider finance team.
• Investigating and resolving complex accounting and reconciliation issues.
• Conducting first-line financial control testing and monitoring activities.
• Supporting finance and business-wide projects aimed at improving processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Driving continuous improvement across financial processes, controls, and operational efficiencies. Your Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong experience operating within a robust financial control environment
• Practical experience working within a finance or accounting function.
• Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or a similar qualification
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
